My pistol was quiter to me than hearing the 40 S&W being fired in the next lane. But my next time out with it will be with the Hyskore rest, we'll see how it does. I can shoot the Glock barrel offhand more accurately that I can shoot the 16" with a stock. If I really concentrated I could get OK groups, but any little mistake and I was off by 2 or 3 inches. I think having that long of a barel with a lock up - just isn't that accurate. The 16" barrel is very unforgiving of any mistakes. I've seen shallower marks on spent casings - it was just a bad round. It was no dimple, or shallow dent, it was a significant strike. Lone Wolf Distributors continues their expansion of the AlphaWolf barrel line to now include the legendary Beretta 92 series The Beretta 92 series is the most iconic semi-auto from the 80s and 90s, and it enjoys quite the following today. I did have a failure to fire once, it was Wolf ammo and when I looked at the primer - it had a good sized dent in it. The new AlphaWolf Beretta 92 barrel carries an MSRP of 159.95 and can be found on the Lone Wolf website. Another was lobbed slightly over the slide to the left, only rising about a half inch before landing between my support hand and the frame.īut I didn't have any stove pipes or jams. I had one case flip directly up onto the top of the slide and spin there for about 3 seconds. Although some of the brass ejection was a little funky. I found out that my 17L and G34 slide cycle fine with the 16" IGB barrel - without the piston and the gas chamber screwed on. The 9" barrel functioned fine, it shoots a tad high, maybe 1/2" at 50 feet - no big deal, I could adjust the sights for it. I thought I might be able to get one lane at Article II that still had a functioning digital electronic target mover - but none of them work anymore so i just guessed at the range. Reasonably priced, CAD designed and CNC machined Lone Wolf Pistol Barrels fit perfectly with most Glocks, Beretta 92-series, the M&P Shield, and the Browning Hi-Power. The 10" seems to be right on - no difference from the stock Glock barrel.ģ) Did you buy your barrel from MDW Guns? I didn't even move the target out further, 2" low at 7 yards is pretty extreme. There is no waiting at JR's although I do have a longer drive to get there.Ģ) Does that barrel shoot low? I have the 16" and it shoots 2" low at about 7 yards. JR's digital target movers still work so if I want to put a target exactly at 25' or 50' I can. And the waiting times are starting to get to me. But Article II's digital target movers are all shot to heck now so I can't move the target out to a precise distance. IMO JR's has poor ventilation, it's too hot in the summer, sweat usually drips down into my eyes unless I wear a sweatband, and if I shoot more than an hour I have a bad gunpowder taste in my mouth and I have to make this special formula to make it go away. I usually shoot at Article II now, although in fall and winter, if I'm only going to shoot an hour I'll drive to JR Shooting Sports in Aurora.
